Lead and co-ordinate team of computer programmers&nbsp;to modify, integrate and test software for e-commerce and other Internet applications. Keep abreast of emerging technologies to sustain our ability to support businesses in saving time, money and effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.<\/li><li>Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.<\/li><li>Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.<\/li><li>Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.<\/li><li>Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.<\/li><li>Direct the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems.<\/li><li>Investigate system component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use.<\/li><li>Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.<\/li><li>Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software.<\/li><li>Configure servers to meet functional specifications.<\/li><li>Develop or approve project plans, schedules, or budgets.<\/li><li>Design and conduct hardware or software tests.<\/li><li>Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures.<\/li><li>Define and analyze objectives, scope, issues, or organizational impact of information systems.<\/li><li>Establish functional or system standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed.<\/li><li>Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.<\/li><li>Train system users in system operation or maintenance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Job Requirements and Education<\/strong><br>A bachelor&#8217;s degree in computer science or in relevant discipline with a significant programming component&nbsp;or&nbsp;Completion of a college program in computer science is required.<br>\u200b<br><strong>Experience<\/strong>&nbsp;in software and mobile Apps system analysis, design, development,&nbsp;deployment and documentation is&nbsp;required.&nbsp; Candidate must be proficient in&nbsp;data analysis and modelling techniques,&nbsp;database&nbsp;designs and administration techniques&nbsp;and&nbsp;use&nbsp;of&nbsp;various RDBMS.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to code in Apps development&nbsp;languages including Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, HTML5, PHP&nbsp;and use a wide variety of system development tools are critical to efficient delivery of results.&nbsp;Certifications in these programming languages, Oracle or other RDBMS, networking&nbsp;tools will be an advantage.&nbsp;<br>\u200b<br><strong>Other Skills<\/strong><br>English&nbsp;language grade of CLB 7+&nbsp;in IELTS, CELPIP or TIF is required in addition to&nbsp;Active Listening,&nbsp;Critical Thinking, Complex Problem Solving and&nbsp;Operations Analysis.<br><br><strong>\u200bSalary<\/strong><br>Attractive and competitive with what is obtainable in the industry.
